Holy Family Updates
March 1, 2023
Dear HFRCS Families,
We cannot believe it is already March! Let’s hope it is not too much like a lion in the beginning, but we will definitely take the lamb on the way out!!! Time flies when you are having fun. And we have a busy month ahead of us as well. Terra Nova’s begin Friday and continue on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week. The 2nd trimester ends on the 9th, we have an early dismissal and mass on the 15th and then report card conferences on the 17th.
Friday is the first day of Terra Nova’s. Just a reminder that they are different this year as grades 2 – 7 participate and there is no science or social studies. It is extremely important not to miss any days or be late during the testing window as we have a limited window to administer the test. Our schedule is below.
Friday 3/3 In View
Monday 3/6 Reading
Tuesday 3/7 Language
Wednesday 3/8 Math
Thursday 3/9 Makeup
Friday 3/10 Makeup
The 2nd trimester is ending, so it is a good time to check Option C to review your children’s grades. Our teachers and students have been working extremely hard this trimester, and we are excited to share all their progress with you at report card conferences on 3/17. That day is also a virtual day for students and they will have work to complete that day. If you have not scheduled your time, please make sure to reach out to your children’s teachers as soon as possible.
Our next mass is March 15th at 9:30am. Our monthly virtue is Patience after St. Francis de Sales. The monthly mass is always open to our families. We are extremely grateful to those who are able to attend and celebrate our faith with us. 3/15 is also an early dismissal.
As always, thank you for your support and dedication to Holy Family and catholic education. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you,
Mr. Elia

Each meeting begins with a meal, followed by a presentation with a discussion. It is a great opportunity for our children. Any 8th grade student who participates will receive a dress down each week. COVID Policy Reminder
At Holy Family, our number one priority will always be the safety of our students, staff, and families. We have seen an increase number of positive cases among students the last three days. Nothing to panic about, but we must make sure we are following proper protocols and taking necessary precautions. If we do not work together, we may be facing a mask mandate and/or possible virtual days if the numbers continue to rise.
As a reminder, our COVID Policy is below. So, please make sure you monitor for symptoms.
Everyone will follow the same procedures regardless of their vaccination status.
If you are exposed to someone who is positive with COVID-19
- There is no quarantine period, but masks will be strongly recommended.
If you live with a person(s) who has tested positive for COVID-19
- There is no quarantine period, but masks will be required. The length of time will be confirmed by Nurse Victoria.
If you test positive for COVID-19
- You must contact Nurse Victoria immediately. You will isolate for at least 5 days and be able to return after that time period if you are free of fever and your overall symptoms have improved. Nurse Victoria will confirm your return date and when you will be able to return to being mask optional.
Please do not hesitate to contact myself or Nurse Victoria if you have any questions or concerns.
