End of the Year Assembly
Our final 2018-2019 Assembly, titled "The Columbia Difference" will be held on June 7th at 9:30 am. We will be honoring our favorite moments from the year including special presentations from students and staff. The 6th grade band and choir will also perform. All grade level and academic awards will be given out by the classroom teachers. Parents are invited to join us to celebrate our CUES family.

6th Grade Glow Dance
The PTO is hosting a dance for the 6th grade students on June 6th from 3:00-5:00 pm in the CUES Cafeteria. The admission is $5 which includes refreshments. Extra Glow Sticks will be available for purchase. Students should wear casual white & neon clothing. Volunteer opportunities for parents are also available. We look forward to a memorable event with our 6th grade students.
Forms & money will be due by the June 5th

Congratulations Class of 2019!
On behalf of CUES, we would like to congratulate the Class of 2019. You have been tremendous leaders within our school and our community. We look forward to learning about the positive contributions you will make in the future. The Senior Class will parade through CES and CUES at 2 pm on May 29th. Graduation is on Friday, May 31st @ 7 pm at Jackson College Potter Center. Best wishes!
3RD GRADE MACKINAW TRIP
MOVE-UP DAY
We are so excited to announce that CUES will be participating in Move-Up Day this year! In preparation for the 2019-2020 school year, all students will have an opportunity to move on up to the next grade level for a Meet & Greet with their new teacher and classmates! This activity will take place on Thursday, June 6th.
Please Note: Back to School Supply Lists and New Teacher Welcome Letters will be sent home with students on June 5th.
Brooklyn Irish-Hills Chamber of Commerce Teacher of the Year!
Please join us in wishing our heartiest congratulations to an extra special educator, Mrs. Terri Crawford! She was recognized this evening as a Brooklyn-Irish Hills Chamber of Commerce Teacher of the Year and earned $500 for her classroom! 💙
Thank you to Dr. Campbell and Mrs. O’Neil for attending the awards ceremony. Mrs. VanWagnen was unable to attend due to the 3rd grade field trip in Mackinac. We are all so very proud of her achievements!
