Concord Scoop Announcement Submission
IB Report Card Notes
Before 2/5:
-Discuss with 1A classes about what the IB report card is and is not
-All students should have their IB grades (on the 1-8 scale) in the PS gradebook BEFORE 2/5 so that they can access PS and easily see the criterion scores (make sure this is an EXEMPT grade so it does not affect the actual number grade in the class)
In the 2/5-2/6 window:
-1A distribute blank IB report cards 2/5
-All teachers have students mark down the achievement level for THEIR class in Powerschool (while in that class: Ex. Johnny marks down his ELA IB grades while in Mr. Driver's ELA class) 2/5 & 2/6
-IB report cards go home on 2/7
-1A teachers assist students with set up of the report card on 2/5
-All teachers should assist with THEIR own subject, making sure that students put it in the correct scores in the 1-4 columns for that subject
After IB report card goes home:
-Expectation is that a parent/guardian signs the IB report card
-Our goal is to assess each criterion twice over the year
