Students from Team Randall/Whitehouse celebrated their informational essays about the Revolutionary War with a tea party. After researching events like the Boston Tea Party, students thought it would be fun to celebrate their writing with a "real" tea party.

RSU 22 is very pleased to offer a wonderful summer learning opportunity to help in the fight against summer learning loss. Virtual Summer School (VSS) offers a simple, fun, and engaging way for any student in RSU 22 currently in grades 3-5 to continue their learning throughout the summer. Students earn points by completing their weekly assignments by the due date. By consistently working on assignments throughout VSS, students have the chance to win lots of great prizes! The program is virtual so students can complete all assignments from home, or anywhere with an Internet connection!

DATES: VSS runs for four weeks starting on Monday, July 10th and ending on Sunday, August 6th. Weekly assignments will be posted on Google Classroom each Monday at 5:00AM and will be due by the following Sunday.

PRIZES: Students earn points for completing weekly assignments (up to 100 points each week). The more points they earn, the more prizes they are eligible for!

REGISTRATION: If you wish to register your child for Virtual Summer School, please fill out by June 7th. Registrations can still be taken after June 7th, but it is helpful to ensure that our team has everything prepared in time to complete the first week’s assignments on time. A registration is needed for each child signing up for VSS.

We are so excited to share that Weatherbee has been selected to benefit from Hannaford’s Community Bag Program, which makes it easy for customers to contribute to their local communities. For the month of May, whenever a $2.50 reusable Community Bag is purchased at the Hampden Hannaford , $1 will be donated to our Weatherbee PTO. This is a great way to broaden awareness and help our cause. The more people who purchase the Community Bag in May the more we can raise!
