Enrollment Instructions if coming from Private/Parochial/Homeschool

NOTE: If your student does not currently attend an MMSD middle school, but was enrolled in an MMSD school at some point in their K-8 education, you should follow the instructions listed below. Be sure to select "Families with children currently or previously enrolled in Madison Metropolitan School District" so you do not set up a duplicate account.

Course Selection Information

West Counselors will be visiting Cherokee, Hamilton, and Wright middle schools in mid-January to share course registration information and distribute course cards to 8th grade students.

Students will then work with their middle school counselors to request 9th grade courses in February through Xello.

The 8th grade Parent/Student night will cover the same course registration information for parents.

Families with West-bound students who do not attend a feeder middle school will be able to pick up course registration materials at the 8th Grade Parent/Student night.

PLEASE NOTE: The courses "Advanced Spanish 1" and "Spanish for Native Speakers" will not be offered next year. They were included in some of our course registration information in error.
