District 303 parents and guardians may register their children for Kindergarten for the 2020-2021 school year on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at all District 303 elementary schools. Register at the elementary school where children in your area currently attend Kindergarten.

Per state law, a child must be five (5) years old on or before September 1, 2020 to be eligible to attend Kindergarten during the 2020-2021 school year. Reliable proof of a child’s identity and age (birth certificate, passport, visa, etc.) will be required at the time of registration as will verification of the identity of the parent or guardian.

Families must provide three (3) documents as proof of residency when enrolling children. New student residency and enrollment information, including links to required notices and Kindergarten enrollment forms, can be found on the District 303 website at https://district.d303.org/registration.

Parents have the option of an All Day Kindergarten (ADK) or Half Day Kindergarten program. All Day Kindergarten is a fee-based program.

Registration Times for Davis Primary:

February 5th from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Did you know that Organic Life offers a morning Food Service to ALL Davis Richmond Students?

In the morning, from 7:40-8:05 am, at Richmond students are able to go grab a breakfast/snack bag in the front hallway. At Davis, students grab breakfast when they arrive. The process is the same as lunch. Students find their id card and money is deducted from their online school account. Students who receive free and reduced lunch services would follow the same process of scanning their lunch card.

Students can use this on a regular basis if you choose, or they can use it when they forget to eat breakfast or forget their daily snack. Please discuss this service with your child should the need arise.

The daily cost for breakfast is $1.60

The daily cost for students on reduced lunch is $0.30

There is no cost to students receiving free lunch, breakfast is also included.

Valentine’s Day Parties will be on February 14. The party schedule is as follows:

1:30 p.m. Room parents arrive and begin party preparation

1:45 p.m. Parties commence

2:35 p.m. Clean up begins

2:45 p.m. Room parents depart

If you are volunteering for the 1st time, stop at the school prior to February 14th to have your license or identification scanned. This will make your entry on party day fast and efficient!

Beginning the week of February 3, Erin's Law presentations regarding child sexual abuse will be delivered to all students at Richmond Intermediate. The presentations will be given over a three-week period and will each be approximately 45 minutes in length. All presentations will be made by the social worker and your child's classroom teacher. Erin's Law is an Illinois law that requires public schools to provide this prevention-oriented child sexual abuse program in grades PreK-12. The lessons will address identifying safe and unsafe touch, private body part rules, and learning ways to stay safe. At the beginning of the academic year, all families received information regarding Erin's Law and the delivery of these lessons.
