The prime minister is head of government. The prime minister is appointed by the president, usually from the largest party in Parliament's lower house, and is approved by a parliamentary vote of confidence. Prime ministers can be removed from office at any time if Parliament passes a vote of no confidence.

People/Housing
- Italy's population is 61.321million
A large percentage of the population owns a home, and many Italian families who do not own a home dream of someday doing so. However, the high price of a new house effectively ensures that—at least in the big cities—some families stay their whole lives in a rented apartment.
