Dear CTE Families,
It was so wonderful to see so many of you at our Fall Festivals. We love seeing your faces in our space and appreciate you dedicating time to come and support our classrooms.
Looking forward to seeing you at our November 3rd CEPO Movie Night, Butter Braid pick up, and Book Fair.

November Calendar
3: CEPO Movie Night and Butter Braid pick up 6-8 pm, Book Fair 4-8 pm (students must be accompanied by an adult). Bring a blanket or camp chair to watch the movie.
6: No school for students
9: Book Fair shopping for students 1-3 pm (students must have cash or e-Wallet set up to shop. Reminder: tax is charged on book fair sales.)
9: CEPO meeting 5:30 pm
23 & 24: No school/Thanksgiving break

Centennial Elementary Parent Organization (CEPO)
Movie Night, Book Fair and Butter Braid Pick Ups is THIS FRIDAY, November 3rd, 6 - 8 PM at CTE. The movie, Shrek, starts at 6:30 in the gym and the Little Theater for those with sensory considerations. Please bring your own chairs for seating in the gym. The movie, popcorn and water is FREE. Pizza will be available for purchase, starting at 6 PM and must be eaten in the cafeteria.
The Scholastic Book Fair will be open on Movie Night, after school until 8 PM and Thursday, Nov. 9th from 1 -3 PM. Children who wish to shop at the Book Fair on Thursday, Nov. 9th will be escorted and must have their money available via cash or e-wallet (tax is charged on book fair sales). The Book Fair can also be shopped online at Centennial Book Fair. Any purchases in person or online from November 3 - 9th benefit our school! Set up an e-wallet online for your child to use. Share the e-wallet with family and friends to contribute to your child's book fund!
Our next meeting is November 9, 5:30 – 7:00 PM in the CTE Media Center and via Zoom. Hope to see you there!

Nominations for Centennial’s Hall of Fame due December 1 – Deadline has been extended
Do you know of someone who has a longstanding history of providing services of time and commitment to education? Or, do you know a Centennial graduate who has demonstrated outstanding professional accomplishments and/or has used their education to impact society? Nominations for the Class of 2024 are due November 1. More information on criteria and how to submit a nomination can be found on the Centennial website.
Centennial Middle School Theatre Performs “The Princess & The Pea”

Location: Centennial Middle School Auditorium, 399 Elm Street
Tickets: Available for purchase beginning October 16. Tickets are purchased online only; cash is not accepted at the door.
Community Education
The Winter Activity Guide is coming! Be sure to visit our online registration beginning December 1 at 8 am to check out offerings for winter and early spring!
Learn to Ski/Snowboard (gr. 5) Learn to navigate the slopes and build confidence, all equipment is provided. A parent can also register and attend the program. This activity is held Dec. 3 at Wild Mountain,
Holiday Open Skate! (all ages)
Sunday, Dec. 17, 2-3:20 pm, join us at the Centennial Ice Arena for holiday-themed open skating. The cost is $5/person (children 6 and under are free).
