Staff Update
October 6, 2017
It is so important to know our students!
Learning Walk
We have gained positive feedback regarding our learning walks, but have had multiple discussions with PLC teams regarding 9 being a difficult number to complete. We are able to reduce this amount to 5 for the year as this is more realistic. We are hoping to relieve some stress as we want the learning walks to be beneficial and give time for you to learn from others!
Subs
We have been working closely with Kelly Services to get all sub positions filled. With that, we want to encourage all of our subs doing a good job to return for future positions. When you see a sub doing a great job, please take time to recognize them and also let Linda know their name so we are able to recognize them in the office as well.
Conference Hours
Please make sure you are using the conference times listed on the paper form we sent out. It is necessary for all teachers to use the same time slots to assist with scheduling for ESL and Sped. Each conference should be scheduled for 20 minutes with 5 minutes in between as noted on the form. Please give your schedule to the office when it is complete.
ESL Reminder -It is our legal obligations to provide interpreters. If parents need an interpreter, the district is legally required to provide someone who has been hired by the district to perform this duty.
