Please install Istation on your home computers or tablet to utilize this program at home. I am seeing tremendous growth in reading from students who are using this program nightly.

RazKids has replaced Baggie Book take-home readers. Students should be reading books on Raz-Kids on their reading level (assigned). There is also an App for this program on tablets. Teacher username is EThune

*Some students have received fluency folders. These passages should be read aloud to a parent NIGHTLY and timed to see how much faster your child gets as the week progresses.

The folders go home each Monday and are due each Friday signed by a parent.

*Students should be reading a MINIMUM of 20 minutes nightly. Istation, Raz-Kids, Fluency passages, fry word practice, and library books can all count toward these minutes.

*Please check our class Facebook page for more frequent updates & reminders. I will also be posting frequently for your assistance with supplies for Science. We are short on materials and resources, so I need help from parents so that we can do our inquiry labs.

*Information about the class party went home on Monday. Please read over that information & make sure to send the item/items your child is responsible for to ensure a successful party!

*Our library day is Monday. Students need to return books each Monday. If they are ready to trade books throughout the week, I will let them trade new books as time permits. A good time to go is in the morning before class starts at 7:40. Please encourage your child to do this.

*Please label all coats, hats, gloves, etc. As the colder months approach, we have a lot of lost-and-found items.
