Plasma or Cell Membrane

Description/structure: Proteins that sat on the surface were sunken into the membrane and other proteins that crossed the membranes.

Functions: It is made up of a wide multiple of smaller molecules to create a flexible porous container.

Animal or Plant cell? Animal

Cell Wall

Description/Structure: like a cardboard box with a water balloon in it.

Function: Made of cellulose and help the plant grow higher.

Plant or Animal Cell? Plant

Description/Structure: Fluid that fills the cell.

Function: Keep the cell working.

PLant or Cell Plant: Both

Description/Structure: Fluid that fills a cell.

Function: Keep the cell working.

Animal or Plant: Both

Nuclear Membrane

Description/Structure: Separate the nucleoplasm, or fluid inside of nucleus from the fluid outside.

Function: Has many holes like pores that that allow material to move through the nucleus.

Animal cell or Plant Cell: Animal

Description/Structure: Nuclear sub-domain that assembles ribsomal sub-units in eukaryotic cells

Function: Regions chromosomes which contain the gene which is a foundation.

Animal or Plant Cell: Animal

Description/Structure: A small set of mierotubles arranged in a specific group.

Function: Helps cells when they divide for mitosis and meiosis.

Animal or Plant Cell: Both

Description/Structure:Made of DNA

Function: makes long chains of DNA to store.

Animal or Plant Cell: Animal

Description/Structure: Protein builders in the cells.

Function: Connects amino acidsto make a chain.

Animal or Plant Cell: Both

Golgi Apparatus

Description/Structure: Series of of membranes shaped like pancakes.

Function: Packs organelles macromollecule.

Animal or Plant Cell: Both

Endoplasmic Reticulum

Description/Structure: Smooth and rough ER.

Function: Manufacturing: and packaging sytem.

Animal or Plant Cell: Both

Description/Structure: Made of an outer and inner membrane.

Function: Like the powerhouse of the cell, such as digestion.

Animal or Plant Cell: Both

Description/Structure: Food producers of all cells.

Function: Converts light energy into sugars that can be used as energy.

Animal or Plant Cell: Plant

Description/Structure: Holds enzymes created by the cells. Purpose: digest.

Function: Used to digest food or break down the cell when it dies.

Animal or Plant Cell: Animal

Description/Structure: A membrane that surrounds the nucleus.

Function: Stores bubbles in cells.

Animal or Plant Cell: Both

Description/Structure: Storage bits in the cells.

Function: Might store food or any nutrient needed, and even waste.
