Colt Corner
Celebrating 40 Years of Excellence
June 2, 2017
Dear Colt Parents,
Thank you for an amazing school year at CMS! For me personally and professionally, it was one of the best school years that I've ever had. CMS is a special place for so many reasons. We had a year full of academic and extra curricular successes, including some of the top state testing scores for middle schools in TX. Additionally, we had 11 athletic district championships, numerous fine arts awards, and qualitative & quantitative academic data showing major increases in our academic rigor in our classrooms that is pictured below. There is so much to celebrate at CMS this year and we had a great time looking back at the 40 years of excellence this school year. Colleyville Middle School is a school rooted in tradition yet adaptable with a growth mindset to serve our evolving 21st-century learners. I would like to wish our 8th graders much success in the following years in high school, while wishing all of our Colts a relaxing, fun, and rejuvenating summer!
BEST,
David Arencibia, Ed.D.
