Big picture

From the Parent Center

Parents, below you will find information on the Parent Portal and Class DoJo. Also, if you don't have a My Payments Plus account, please get one. Important information such as the Title I Plan Promise, the student handbook and other school orientation information, should be read and acknowledged using My Payments Plus. English classes will also be available this year to parents who do not speak English. Please see Dr. Harris in the Cafeteria during Open House to sign up for English Classes or to sign up for the Parent Portal or My Payments Plus.

The Parent Portal

Have you signed up for the Parent Portal? We know that families want easy access and one, go-to location for need-to-know information about their student's education— from records to resources. Just as important, you want an easy way to stay in touch with the school. The Updated Parent Portal gives parents access to grades, assignments, and communication with teachers. The Parent Portal gives families a direct line to the classroom, with 24/7 real-time information and anytime, anywhere access, with in-portal translation in multiple languages. And that's just the beginning... Click on the link below to learn more about the Parent Portal.

School Communication - Class DoJo

At Sweetwater Middle School, our teachers use Class Dojo to communicate with parents about their child's grades, upcoming assignments, or assessments. Your child's teacher will give you a code to sign up for their Class DoJo. Once you receive the code, follow the instructions listed on the sheet. Then, you will be ready to receive messages. Dr. Harris, the Parent Center Coordinator, will also send out messages using Class Dojo. Below is a short clip of how to register for Class Dojo. You can join Class DoJo using this link: https://www.classdojo.com/invite/?s=4eece683f64aa62934ed5a44
