Kelly's Coaching Corner
The Frayer Model is a graphic organizer for building student vocabulary. This technique requires students to define target vocabulary and apply their knowledge by generating examples and non-examples, giving characteristics, and/or drawing a picture to illustrate the meaning of the word. This information is placed on a chart that is divided into four sections to provide a visual representation for students.
Check out this website for additional information on Frayer model: http://www.theteachertoolkit.com/index.php/tool/frayer-model

Schedules
At this point we need to ask for schedules from all classroom teachers again. Please share your most current schedule by Wednesday, March 11th with both me and Sue. We need a schedule from each teacher, NOT a grade level schedule for the whole team. If you had previously changed your recess or restroom time, we'll need you to come talk with us about the change.
If you made a schedule change, your posted schedule in your room should reflect that.
PBIS Survey
We would like to close the window next Friday, March 13th, so please log in and complete the survey before then.
