What to bring:
Instrument--each student to bring own instrument •Cellists/Bassists MUST bring rockstops (stools for bassists if you use one regularly) •Violinists/violists bring your shoulder rests (label with your name) •Music for performance (Clinch Mountain Backstep, Ghost Carnival, Dargason from St. Paul Suite )
•Pencil
•Attire: Informalwear orchestra tshirts
•Music stand—clearly labeled with name/school (bassists do not need to bring a music stand)

Schedule
1:45 p.m. Jr High Students arrive, tune and sit in seats
2:00 p.m. Sectionals run by professional musicians (Room locations will be announced closer to the festival date).
3:40 p.m Team building activities and Q&A at the end led by HS musicians.
4:30 p.m. Combined rehearsal in main gym
6:00 p.m. Dinner for students in cafeteria
7:00 p.m. FOR PARENTS and STUDENTS:
● Concert and Question/Answer time in the Gym
● Performances by: PHS & FHS Concert,
Philharmonic, Chamber and Symphony
Orchestras; Combined Jr./Sr. High Orchestras
8:30 p.m. Conclusion of Festival (The directors and students would like for parents to attend the performance but understand that might not be possible for everyone. Please be prompt when picking up your child.)
