Please No Double Parking
We have had numerous complaints about parents double parking on Horne Street during the morning drop off. For everyone’s safety and better traffic flow please use the drop off lane on 7th Street. The police are aware and will be issuing tickets. Thank you for your cooperation.

Field Day
Dear Richmond Families,
If you are considering being a volunteer for field day, we wanted to communicate some extra details. Field Day is Tuesday May 24, 2022. There is no rain date this year. This is a whole school, all-day event! Any parent who signs up to volunteer will be helping to run a station. Regardless of the time frame you sign up for, we will make sure that your child(ren)'s class will pass through your station while you are helping. Please feel free to email Mr. Lubas or Mr. Born with any other questions or concerns you may have. We are looking forward to a fun and active day!
Sincerely,
Mr. Lubas and Mr. Born

Fourth Grade Mayor Visit
Fourth graders at Richmond learn about the federal, state and local levels of Government. One of our fourth graders thought it would be a great idea to ask a local official, our Mayor, to visit Richmond and asked Mayor Vitek if she would visit Richmond. She said, "Yes." She spoke to fourth graders about what her job entails and students had an opportunity to ask very thoughtful questions about what it's like to be mayor. We appreciate Mayor Vitek taking the time out of her busy schedule to visit Richmond!
State Testing
Please click HERE regarding a letter about this year’s state assessments. Richmond will administer IAR April 5th, April 6th, April 7th, April 12th, April 13th and April 14th. Third, fourth and fifth graders will take three English language arts and three math tests. We will run a slightly different specials schedule during the two weeks of testing. We encourage students to eat breakfast and get a good night’s sleep so they are at their best for their test.
