Chapman Chatter
Vol. II, Issue 1
"What we model, is what we get."
I Do, We Do, You Do! is our theme this year at Chapman. This past week we had an opening day assembly to re-introduce and highlight each LETTER of P-R-I-D-E. Prepared - Respectful - Inclusive - Determined - Engaged. Students in Grades 1-5 fully participated in the assembly and demonstrated PRIDE-like behaviors all week. Our half day and full day Kindergarten students also participated in their own mini PRIDE assembly on Friday. Students have begun earning PRIDE Cards for being PREPARED-RESPECT-INCLUSIVE-DETERMINED-ENGAGED both in and out of the classroom. Students earn rewards for each PRIDE card and are also entered in a monthly drawing by grade cluster (K-1/2-3/4-5). And next week, we will continue our "training" with mini-presentations to each class.
