Have a great Fall Break
It's all in your perspective!
As I was doing an evaluation this week, I sat down at the teacher's desk to be able to watch the teacher from a better angle. It was an engaging lesson and I quickly became engrossed in the read-aloud that was being read. As the teacher was transitioning, I looked up and my eyes became riveted on the doorway. Now mind you, I have been in this classroom on several occasions, but never have I been at this angle. Above the door, in very large letters, it says, "YOU ARE LOVED!" Just take a moment to think about these compelling words.
Every day, when a child leaves this room, these words are probably the last thing they read. Three simple words, you are loved. If this doesn't say it all, I don't know what does.
This is powerful.
I hope every child that comes through our doors, knows and feels these three words. Thank you for changing my perspective, Shaiya.
Thank you all for changing my perspective. I see every day how much you love your students and how hard you work. I notice every day when you are here early, and staying late, and coming in on weekends. You care enough to financially help co-workers, hurricane victims, and your own students. Thank you for all the little ways you go above and beyond to make this place great! I am blessed by all of your efforts and love. Have a restful fall break. Send me a scenic picture! Enjoy.
