Monster Book Fair

Our fall bookfair is up & running this week! Students are welcome to attend the bookfair during their recess time or after they finish lunch IF they have money; we do not allow students to go and browse, or to go with a friend. They will have a chance to preview the books on Monday. The book fair is open until 3:30 Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week. Tuesday is the late night at the fair and it's open until 6:00; Friday it will close at 2:00.

If you are interested in purchasing books but are unable to attend the fair on campus, you may order online at http://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bookfairs/cptoolkit/homepage.do?method=homepage&url=reaganrays2015.

Donations Needed This Week for Turkey Oreos

Shhhh...it's a secret! We're learning about procedural texts this week in language arts, and will be practicing by putting together a turkey made with some yummy treats! :) If you are able to donate any of the items in the link below, please sign up and send them in with your child no later than Wednesday to give Mrs. Eddy. We will be using them this Thursday 11/19 in class.

If your child is allergic to any of these items, please let Mrs. Eddy know no later than Wednesday 11/18 so that other arrangements can be made. Thanks for your help!

Science - Conductors & Insulators

On Wednesday, we will have a learning check in science. Students will need to show their understanding of electrical conductors and insulators. Check out the link below for some games on our classroom website that students can use to review this concept.

Pajama Drive

Please help us collect pajamas for students during the annual Reagan Elementary PJ Drive! We had a great time at our "Wear a pair, share a pair" kickoff last Friday and already have 33 pairs as a grade level! Keep those PJs coming for the Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive!

Our PTA Spirit Sticks are all the rage this year! While supplies last, you can order a Holiday Gram to be delivered to your child in class on Dec.17. It will include a cardstock tag with "To" and "From" filled in for you, and one Spirit Stick, all for $2. The actual stick received will be a surprise, unless you don't celebrate Christmas and would like to request "Frosty the Snowman". Orders must be placed online via the PTA website (linked below) so that we can keep track of how many are sold. If you don’t receive an email order confirmation, your order didn’t go through. Thank you for supporting your PTA!

We couldn't be prouder of our students and the work they put into this year's Veterans Day program! Thanks so much for your support as they pulled off this year's tribute to our nation's veterans.
