HOLY ROSARY NEWSLETTER
Term 4 Week 2 - 20 October
FROM MARK:
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Thomas Merton was one of the most influential theologians of the 20th Century. His words have as much currency today as they ever did. I hope that some of the reflections which form art of each newsletter have proclaimed to you.
Thank you to our Year Four Dominic Gang for today’s assembly item and to our Choir for their performance too! You were all fantastic! What a wonderful celebration to start our day!
Please keep our students in Year 3 in your prayers as many will receive the Sacrament of Penance this weekend - a big step in their faith journey!
Have a good weekend
Mark de Kluyver
Principal

Anti-Poverty Week
Anti-Poverty Mass - Wednesday 18 October
The Mass was a powerful moment where Catholic agencies came together with school communities to raise awareness of poverty and the importance of being in solidarity with the poor - the people we serve.
There were over 44 schools in attendance at the Mass and approximately 300 students attended. Holy Rosary was represented by Ursula Finneran as candle bearer during the Opening Procession of Mass.
Aye! We did it matey!
THANK YOU !! What an amazing accomplishment your students can feel proud of.
