Special Training with Aimee Senise Bohn

Training for Yoga Volunteers to Lead and Assist Yoga Service Classes

Come together with other yoga service teachers and volunteers in the Rochester area who want to share yoga with those in need in our community! Our esteemed teacher, Aimee Senise Bohn, will share strategies, best practices, and wisdom for both yoga teachers and yoga volunteers.

RYSN Spring Training

Sunday, Feb. 7th, 12:30-3:30pm

Nazareth College Linehan Chapel

This special training is for certified yoga teachers, yoga service volunteers, and anyone who wants to join the movement of yoga service to help heal our world.

Following Aimee's wise lead, we will explore key questions in yoga service settings, such as:
~What are effective strategies for integrating non-certified yoga volunteers to "assist" in service settings?
~Is it appropriate to have volunteers introduce the theme of the class? Provide demonstrations of poses? Offer oil during Shavasana?
~When non-certified yoga
students/volunteers are asked to lead "yoga-based" programs at schools or other settings, how much can they lead without being certified?

COST:
$20/person (with generous scholarships available as needed, by request)
$5/Naz student (subsidized by the College)
