Case Cheerleaders at state finals
Congratulations on being recognized for excellence during the fall season and have a great performance this weekend!
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Teachers will meet briefly with Case families on a first-come, first-served basis. If there are lines for any one specific room, teachers have been advised to limit the conversation to 5 minutes and continue via phone if necessary.
Guidance counselors are on hand during this time. We will have schedules printed, but you may consider being more strategic in having a ready list of your child's teachers and their room numbers. I have attached teacher room assignments to the email that includes this newsletter.
NHS students will help you navigate to specific rooms. Refreshments are available across from the Cardinal's Nest school store near the cafeteria. There is also a Child Care Bake Sale during these evenings.
Here are some strategies that I have shared in the past regarding when teachers and families meet.
Homecoming Dance
All tickets sold at the door are $10. Students must have all permissions and documentations in place before being allowed entrance.
Reminder: Lunch balances
According to this year's student handbook:
FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS:
Each student is responsible for the condition of all textbooks, locks, materials and equipment issued. At the close of the school year, all issued obligations, return items, school lunch account balances, or payment for damage or loss must be met. No diplomas will be given to students who have outstanding financial commitments. All financial obligations must be met before any social events can be attended including but not limited to school sponsored dances, prom, and senior trip.
Students and families have received multiple reminders about this policy

FYI: New Immunization Requirement for 2020-2021 School Year
Effective the start of the 2020-2021 school year, school nurses will need to obtain an immunization record for the meningococcal conjugate vaccine for students
entering the 7th and 11th grade, unless a religious or medical exemption applies.
The immunization record will need to demonstrate the following:
· 7th grade entry: 1 dose of meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MenACWY) for all students
· 11th grade entry: 1 booster dose of meningococcal conjugate vaccine (Men ACWY) received on or after 16 years of age. (One or more doses of MenACWY vaccine are acceptable as long as one dose was received on or after 16 years of age.)
More details to follow from Leslie Stolts, Director of Health Services for Swansea Public Schools.
