The Week in Review
If you were a fly on our walls this week you would have heard all of the 4's C in authentic and meaningful activities. Our conservation ecologists kept on advocating for their endangered animals, readers strengthening their reading strategies, and mathematicians worked to solve patterns.
Language Arts
In Language Arts this week students were hard at work building their reading skills through relevant readings. We compared this flood reading to what is happening in Houston and had meaninful converstations.
Science
This week in science we continued to record and finalize our mini ted talk presentations to help save our endangered animal species. It is amazing to be able to share in all of our students' passion and persistence. We are so proud of all of them!
Math
This week in math we have been exploring the use and purpose of perentheses. The students enjoyed playing a game with dice where they had the opportunity to use their creativity to write and solve equations.
No more spelling homework, but there is still a grammar packet and handwriting packet for Language Arts homework!
