Mr. Doyle's Message
Next week, we will conduct our Code Red Drill with the Woodstock Police Department. If you would like your student to be withheld from participating in the drill, please email me at rdoyle@wcusd200.org.
Starting on Wednesday, we will begin to have an Activity Bus that will run after school. This bus will mostly support students attending Game Club, Art Club, and our SOAR program, but other students are welcome to ride the bus. Any student planning to ride the activity bus will need to notify the office before 11 a.m. to be eligible to ride, regardless of the program they're staying after school to attend. All your student needs to do is stop by the office to tell us and they'll be added to the list for transportation. The bus will be at Creekside at 4:45 pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. (Next week will only be Wednesday and Thursday). If you have any questions, please let me know.
Thanks and enjoy the weekend!
Enthusiastically,
Mr. Doyle

News from the CMS Library and Mrs. McCoy
As we finish our fourth week of school, all students have had an opportunity to visit the library to check out books. Students seem to be especially excited about many of our numerous new titles. Student can check out 2 books at a time and keep them for 2 weeks. Books can be renewed for an extra 2 weeks if needed. I’ve also visited classrooms reminding students how to access and use Destiny Discover, our library website.
Looking for ways to get books into the hands of your children a home? Check out this promotion that Kellog’s cereal is running during the Month of September.
