SENIOR NIGHT INFORMATION
FOR SENIOR STUDENTS AND PARENTS:
Dear Wakeland HS Band Family and Friends,
With Senior Night on Thursday, November 2 at the Star, I wanted to send you all an update regarding instructions and yard line assignments.
Parent/ Escort Attire
Attire for the event consists of “dressy clothes” including dress shirts and slacks (jacket/tie optional) for men and nice attire for women.
Please, no jeans or ball caps on the field for this dignified event.
You may bring flowers, balloons, or a small gift for your child.
2nd Quarter
We will meet on the concourse above the band when 4:00 are left on the game clock in the 2nd quarter. We will have someone in place to assist in lining-up the parents, then moving you to position.
Halftime
Your child will meet you on the sideline following the Band’s performance for the Drill Team.
Please stand on the sideline (in the white box right near where the green starts) until your child’s name is called.
When it is, precede forward 4 steps (towards the bottom of the printed numbers on the field).
Mr. Smith will greet you with an award and shake your child’s hand.
A photographer will follow to take an on-field picture. This picture will be used for the annual band yearbook.
Yard line Assignments
Please view the attached .pdf file for yard line assignments.
If your student is highlighted in yellow please have them some see me so I can get college plan information in the script.
Thank you and Congratulations seniors!

Event Volunteer Signups
What an amazing weekend! Thanks to everyone volunteering at the games and contests. You are an important part of this organization.
We need to finish out our year strong! Please volunteer for the upcoming game. A number of people working the game are also working the trip. Help make their load lighter. It is also Senior night and those parents need have the opportunity to enjoy that time with their student. The band performs post game as a farewell performance before they leave for San Antonio. It will be the last time it is performed in Frisco. So no one will miss this performance even if working concessions!!
If you haven't made the choice to volunteer this season please join us! We need you!
