Fall Festivities

This week starts our Lynx Tracks Hay Tunnel field trips. Please see the Upcoming Events section for what day your child's class will go. Please be sure your child has warm winter gear for that field trip. It is a great time, but often gets chilly and windy, so please be sure your child is warm enough to enjoy it.

Friday is our big Fall Carnival! From 6-9pm here at school, we will have concessions for sale, game booths, prize give-away ($1 a ticket to enter to win - see list below, more items to add), Cash Raffle tickets on sale, cake walk, face painting and more! This is a fabulously fun family event and one of PTO's big fundraisers. We look forward to seeing you all there! If you would like to help out with the booths, set up or clean up, please let the office know. Thank you to all who make this great event possible.

The Book Fair starts this week as well. You will see the books set up in the library, and you can also order books online here . Online Book Fair goes until October 26 and in-school Book Fair goes until November 4th. We are still looking for volunteers to help with it. If you are interested, please contact Rosy Thompson in the Library, or call the school office at 260-1345.

Cash Raffle Update - Students selling raffle tickets need to return any sold tickets (with money), as well as any unsold tickets, to the office no later than November 5th. If you or your student have tickets checked out but do not plan to sell them, please return them to the office as soon as possible so that we can try to re-distribute or sell them through the office. We have had a lot of interest and students have been doing a wonderful job of selling tickets. Thank you for all the hard work and support!

Trunk or Treat will be at School from 6-8pm on Halloween (Thursday, October 31st). If you would like to participate with your trunk, please be at school at 5pm for set up.
