Rose Lane Event Calendar
Rose Lane Principal Letter
We will return to virtual instruction on January 4th, and at that time you will have an opportunity to choose how you want your child to participate in school should the governing board vote to resume hybrid instruction. Please be on the lookout for more information, coming directly from MSD's communications department, related to this. Mr. Reyes and I, along with the front office staff, will gladly answer your questions and help you with this process.
Looking forward to the rest of January 2021, we would like to invite 4th grade parents to an informational meeting (virtual, of course!) with Principal Pam Warren, from Madison #1. Please place January 11th on your calendar, when we will have two sessions between 5:00pm and 6:30pm designed to showcase Madison #1 and answer any questions you might have. We will send out Google Meet links to 4th grade parents, and we will also record the meetings and post them for parents who cannot attend.
Parent-Teacher conferences will also be held on January 12th and 13th; please look for information from teachers about signing up for designed time to talk about your child's progress.
I'm very grateful to TEAM for their terrific Dine-out Nights, the Rada fundraiser, and a beautiful Penguin Patch Holiday Shop. On January 15th, we will launch our Boosterthon fundraiser, which will be a virtual dance party this year! Proceeds will be used to pay for our noon duty aides, as well as teacher grants and will also support TEAM's general fund. More information about how you can support this fundraiser will be coming out shortly. Our community is wonderfully supportive, and we are grateful for TEAM's active role in our Madison Rose Lane's success!
I'm very thankful for the many, many parents who have paid their $50 activity fee. If you have not already done so, please navigate to the MSD website to make your payment. We fund our Cool Kids Recess program from activity fees. If you haven't yet paid your fee, or if you wish to make an additional donation, please navigate to the MSD website at this link. The Tax Credit program allows every person who files an income tax return with the State of Arizona the opportunity to receive a tax credit for contributing to extracurricular activities.
Please have a joyful break with your families, and please know that we join you in both celebrating the amazing accomplishments of a historical 2020 while looking forward with hope towards 2021!

I am so proud of our Rockets for the PE work they have been doing online! Students are finding ways to be active no matter where they are doing school. Last week students got their heart rates up with an Among Us fitness challenge. This week we are bringing our Art skills to PE class with a drawing fitness workout. If you need help getting into our PE google classroom, please let me know, email@example.com
Have a restful break Rockets!
