Lost and Found
Our Tables are piling up!😄
We currently have a large amount of lost and found items in the cafeteria. Please have your student stop by and see if anything belongs to them or you may call the office if you would like to schedule a time to take a look for missing items.
We will be donating everything to our Keystone Green bin out by the loading docks before we close over winter break. Nothing will be saved after December 22nd.
Found Glasses
Has Your Student Lost Their Glasses?
The nurses are accumulating several lost pairs of glasses. Please view the photo to see if any belong to your children. If they do, please have your student visit the nurse's office to get them.
From Our Nurse's Office

Upcoming Holidays
Christmas- Monday, December 25th
Kwanzaa- Monday, December 26th-Sunday, January 1st
Orthodox Christmas- Sunday, January 7th
Interesting Facts:
- During the Winter Solstice, New York City will experience 9 hours and 15 minutes of sunlight, compared to 15 hours and 5 minutes on the summer solstice. Helsinki, Finland will get 5 hours and 49 minutes of light and Barrow, Alaska, will not have a sunrise at all.
- The custom of sending Christmas cards, as we know them today, was started in England in 1843 by government worker, Sir Henry Cole, when introduced the Penny Post. Before this time, only wealthy people were able to afford sending anything through the 'post' office.
- The colors of Kwanzaa are a reflection of the Pan-African movement representing “unity” for peoples of African descent worldwide: Black for the people, red for the noble blood that unites all people of African ancestry, and green for the rich land of Africa.
- Orthodox Christmas, January 7th, is a public holiday in countries such as Egypt, Ethiopia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Macedonia, Serbia, Russia, and Ukraine.
