Healing Yourself is Connected with Healing Others
Letter from Client to Candice; dated January 14, 2016
I assume you get this often, but I wanted to take a moment and let you know again how grateful I am for what you have done for me and my family. Last night, while I was asleep, I received a text message from our oldest son. I wanted to share it with you because I believe you and my wife deserve a large majority of the credit for the change he has seen in me. You have a unique and I believe divine gift. More importantly, you have a rare courage to share your gift with the world.
Whatever the future holds for our family, you will always be counted as one of the rare gifts sent from God to help us achieve what today is a relationship with my wife that I could have never imagined and a hope for a future that is even better than today. Thank you to you and your team again for persevering through craziness and narcissism and my multiple “parts” to start me on the path to become who I always hoped to become.
Below is the text.
"This may sound weird coming from your son, but I was just writing in my journal tonight about change of heart and I realized that one of the greatest examples in my life of a change of heart has been you. I don't know if you realize it (because sometimes I don't realize the change or progress in my life) but you are a completely different person today than what I grew up with as a kid and teenager. Anyways, just wanted to let you know that it was on my mind as I read the scriptures and thought about changing hearts. Thanks for being a living "scriptural" example."
