Can you believe we are in October? Time flies by when we are having fun! It has been wonderful being able to see students in guidance classes. We hope that students are sharing what they are learning from their school counselors! October is a fun and busy month. Remember that we are here for you!
- October 4: Blue Up and wear blue for World Bullying Prevention Month
- October 8: Declaration of Respect Signing Day
- October 25-28: Red Ribbon Week
- October 28: Counselor Pop Up
Counseling Centers Students were able to enjoy different centers in counseling that focused on Confidence. | Make Your Mark Dot Day is celebrated on September 15-ish and empowers students to be PROUD of being YOU and encourages everyone to leave your mark on the world! Students each created their own unique dot as part of our community project. | Counselor Pop Up Coffee Thank you to all our parents who stopped by for a cup of coffee and tips on building your students' confidence at home. We can't wait to see more of you at our next Pop up! |

1st Mindful Movement Class for Students!!!
Who: Mrs. Craig & 4th/5th Grade students
When: Wednesday, October 13th
Time: 7:15-7:45 (please eat breakfast BEFORE attending class)
Where: Guidance Classroom (C127)
If your student would like to participate in a mindful movement class, please RSVP to Mrs. Craig.

There will only be 15 spots available for the first class. Please be on time!!! Students who are late will be asked to wait for the next class to participate.
What is a mindful movement class? Mindful Movement is part of our Social-Emotional Learning mindset, where we can use movement to become self-aware and improve our self-management.

We will be handing out resources on "Bullying" to coincide with Red Ribbon Week.
Stop in, grab a cup of coffee from Starbucks and pick up your resources for home.
