Fall Concert: Charity Connection

Food 4 Souls - men's socks collection

Help us rock #socktober!

Food 4 Souls, a non-profit homeless organization, will be collecting men’s white socks at the Fishers High School’s Fall Choir Concert on October 6th at 7 PM. Homeless individuals walk….a lot! This is their main form of transportation, and it’s important they keep their feet clean and dry. Please bring in one pair (or more) of men’s white socks. Monetary donations will be accepted too.

Food 4 Souls - Learn More

Food 4 Souls is a non-profit homeless organization that serves the homeless community in downtown Indianapolis. We provide hope, meet daily needs and align resources to those who are ready to move into a life beyond homelessness.

Meeting the daily needs of those we serve not only provides necessary life sustaining resources, but also creates a tremendous opportunity to build strong, trusting relationships. Food 4 Souls and its dedicated volunteer teams earn the often needed relational capital that is required to help an individual begin steps towards living a life beyond homelessness.

Since our launch in 2013, F4S has assisted over 50 individuals off the street, served roughly 4,200 warm meals each year and continues to advocate for those still living on the street and mentor those who are now in a recovery setting.

80% of the population F4S serves, suffers from addictions, mental health disorders or both. These can be huge barriers when trying to navigate the system that is complex and difficult to work through. F4S helps connect these individuals with the appropriate Service Provider to get the help they need to become sustainably independent. We walk with them and encourage them to stay engaged in addressing the underlying issues that ultimately led to their homelessness.
