What We Do
On the first visit, your patient will meet with a preventive cardiology physician for a physical exam and evaluation of his/her heart which may include an ECG an echocardiogram. Your patient's health history and medications will be reviewed. A cholesterol panel can be drawn and results given at the time of the initial evaluation. We will then make dietary/nutritional referrals as well as physical fitness referrals and recommendations. We will schedule follow-up clinic visits to assess the child's progress. A letter will be sent to the primary care physician detailing our assessment, recommendations and care plan.
