Class Curriculum
1st Grade - Children will determine wether equations are true or false. ( 5+6=7+3) and create their own equal equations.
2nd Grade - This week children will analyze and create their own bar graphs. They will ask and answer questions about data using bar graphs.
READING
1st Grade - We continue our character studies where children are visualizing dialogue and inferring characters' feelings.
2nd Grade- We continue our study on point of view and will begin a new unit in Non-Fiction.
WRITING
We will finish up writing persuasive letters and begin working on writing about books.
SOCIAL STUDIES
We will conclude our studies on reading maps this week and will celebrate with a bit of a 'treasure' hunt on Friday!
