Family Update

Dublin Jerome High School

Aug. 27, 2021

slow. small. daily.

A message from me...

Good Afternoon!

It is great to have our first full week of school under our belt. If your house is anything like mine, your kiddos likely are ready to have a morning to sleep just a little bit. The students and staff have been working hard to acclimate to our return.

As we continue to engage and relearn our school day there are a variety of situations that arise. We are doing our best to support students and help provide them the tools and resources they need to be successful in all aspects.

We are excited about our first home football game and looking forward to week 3 of school. Thank you for your help and support.

Have a great weekend!

Dress Code Reminders

With all of our students returning back to school in a full-time capacity, I wanted to take a quick second to remind everyone of our dress code expectations. You can find the overview of our goals and expectations on page 49 and 50 of the Student Handbook.

If we have a concern with a dress code situation we will address it directly with the student and follow up with parents. Thank you for your help and support!

Thank you!

If you would like a locker for this coming school year, please fill out this form and we will assign you one. Students will need to submit the request from their school email.

  • All of our Freshmen have been assigned a locker to you do not need to fill out this form.
  • If you have a special request please email us and we will be happy to help!

Attendance Procedures/Notification

One of the greatest predictors of school success is consistent daily attendance. However, we do understand there are times when a student needs to miss school. Please contact the Attendance office either by phone or email if your son or daughter is going to be late or miss school. This will help ensure clear lines of communication and proper supports.

Students need to be in their 1st-period class by 7:55 am or they are considered tardy. After 3 tardies students will be issued school discipline. The discipline will escalate as the number of tardies increases. The tardies reset after each quarter.

If your son or daughter is going to be late, please email the attendance line or call the number above. Please let us know if you have any questions.
