Celebrating Fall

Thanks to all the efforts of the PTO students celebrated Halloween and Harvest Day with games, crafts, and snacks. Students, and staff, had a wonderful time. Please visit the school's Facebook page to view the many activities from the day.

Food Committee Critiques Lunches

Students and parents met with the school’s lunch provider, Quest, to share suggestions and ideas about improving the meals. Students and parents shared what they liked and disliked about the new online meal ordering system as well as the food on the menu. Quest will send a survey to gather additional feedback from families about how they can improve their service. For photos of the activity, please visit the school's Facebook page.

Parent Education Committee Values Your Opinion

The Sprague Education Committee would like your thoughts on parent education workshops for families of children in grades preschool through second-grade. Please respond to this brief survey with your responses.

Picture Retake Day

Picture retake day is Wednesday, Nov. 6. If you are unhappy with your child's picture and would like to have it retaken, you must return the original package in its entirety (except for the class picture). The original package will be handed to the photographer when the new picture is taken.

If your child was absent and did not have a photo taken, please download the form from the Sprague School News website page and bring it to the photographer along with payment (check, credit card or cash).

Green Team Going Strong at Sprague

The Green Team has kicked off the school season by encouraging staff and students to recycle lunches to classroom supplies. Our student-led Green Team, which consists of students in kindergarten through second-grade, will be sharing the message of why students should reduce their waste and try to be waste-free. As an incentive, on Wednesdays, the Green Team will hand out small prizes to students who bring their lunch to school in recycled containers. Going waste-free means reducing your impact on the environment by creating little to no waste. Thanks to our PTO and the Links for Learning, we have begun composting during lunch each day.

Candy Collection

Sprague School is conducting its annual candy drive following Halloween. Please bring in unopened candy to the front office between Friday, Nov. 1 and Tuesday, Nov. 5. Candy will benefit GiveNkind.
