Peter Menzel's pictures
The first photo was taken in Japan and the second photo was taken in Mali. I chose these two pictures because the first picture is a house full of things that most families today in America have and I chose the second one because it is very different than the first picture with a little bit of stuff. The Japanese family has about everything you need or see in an american house. For example, washer & dryer, beds, lots of clothes, and kid's toys. The house in Mali has mainly pots/ bowls and clothes. It looks like they built it themselves while the Japan one looks built by workers. The biggest difference between these two houses is that one looks not too rich & not too poor while the other looks poor. The biggest similarity between them is that they both have kitchen stuff (bowls) and clothes showing in each photo.
