ESS Weekly Family Update
Week ending 2/25/2022
Update from Mrs. Weber
We had a great week. We had so much fun celebrating 2/22/22 day and collected over $1,100 for the Animal Shelter. Thank you to all who donated-your generosity is much appreciated! Fourth grade collected the most money so they earned 2 extra recesses and all other classes earned one extra recess for raising so much money. Great job Rising Stars.
Our usual Friday announcements were not able to happen-Ms. Pierson's class won the Golden Spatula for earning the most points in the cafeteria.
In Lexia, Mrs. Sims, Mrs. Zack and Mrs. Field had the top unit gaining classes. Taavon Baker had the most units gained in K, Nanella Tchangou had the most units gained in 1st, Zoe Gaynor had the most untis gained in 2nd, Ashlyn Capela had the most units gained in 3rd and Elijah Nieves had the most in 4th. Great job by all-keep working hard!!
We are concluding our month long Random Acts of Kindness on Monday.-congratulations to all students and staff who were recognized. The last names will be called Monday morning.
Friday's snow day now brings us to Thursday June 23 as the tentative last day of school. Monday June 20-Thursday June 23 will be early dismissal days.
Have a great rest of the week and the weekend-see you Monday-Mrs. Weber
