Welcome Back Brown Bear Families
The staff and I cannot thank you enough for your continued support and patience through this rocky, but exciting and positive first few weeks of the 20/21 school year. It took tons more effort than anticipated, but was well worth every extra minute to complete our one-to-one device for students project. All K-2 students now have iPads and almost all grades 3-5 students have Chromebooks. We can’t solve all of the challenges but we will do our best to conquer the ones we can when we have the resources. Our goal is to ensure student safety when the students do finally return to our buildings, and to offer as much support as possible, so nothing distracts the students from their learning. It’s going to be a GREAT year.

- Mrs. Fine will email or call parents to confirm pick ups.
- Books will be checked out for 2 weeks at a time.

Library Books
Calling all library books! If you have library books that have been with you all summer they can be dropped off in the return bin outside the front doors of the school anytime during the school day or during curbside library times.
Google Classroom
Hey 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Students! If you haven't joined PE, Music, or Library Google Classrooms we miss you. We also don't want you to miss out on lots of cool activities each week. If you need the code contact your teacher or the specials teachers.

Bus Information
Families who want their students to ride a school bus, when school is back to in-person sessions, need to register online. Rider registration will provide for the effective route planning and contact tracing, should that become necessary. Registration is also the first step towards improving our bus notifications system.
If you plan to have your student(s) ride the bus, register here. The registration form can also be found on the district transportation webpage. If you need assistance registering, contact Transportation at 907-452-2000 option 4.
