In the Spotlight - Virtual Teaching with Ms. Dawkins and Ms. Infinger
Differentiated Accountability: We are proudly educating 537 future leaders.
INSTRUCTIONAL FOCUS - Virtual Progress Monitoring/Paper-based Portfolios
- Continue to provide the necessary supports for your students through any avenue possible (Zoom, email, DoJo, phone calls, etc.)
- Continue to document interventions on the Individual Student Contact Form
- Paper-based Portfolios are being turned in as we speak. Continue to call and provide feedback on the portfolios that have been graded.
- Vertical Planning Meetings begin next week.
Important Information
- Teacher Schedule: We will keep the same schedule for the week of May 11th - 15th
- MTSS Forms: For those that have not turned in your Quarter 3 Tier 2 worksheets and intervention documentation, these need to be turned in to Ms. Geoghagan this week. If you were providing Tier 3 interventions, turn in the Tier 3 intervention documentation.
- Yearbook & Class Picture Sales: May 18th - May 22nd from 8:00-3:00 in the front of school.
- Honor Roll Forms: Due to Krisy Spence on May 18th
- Posting Grades: Grades should be posted on May 29th by 3:00 p.m.
- Report Cards: Will be mailed June 8th.
MSE Drive-Thru Student Recognition and Awards Event
The dates and times are:
Kindergarten – Tuesday, May 26th between 8:00 and 11:30
First grade – Tuesday, May 26th between 12:00 and 3:00
Second grade – Wednesday, May 27th between 8:00 and 11:30
Third grade – Wednesday, May 27th between 12:00 and 3:00
Fourth grade – Thursday, May 28th between 8:00 and 11:30
Fifth grade – Thursday, May 28th between 12:00 and 3:00
Reminders:
- Each grade level will be responsible for creating a program listing all students in the grade level that receive an award. Programs should be ready to place in personalized bags on May 21st. Awards and personal belongings will be in our personalized bags to pass out.
- Decorations: Please let me know who is going to be responsible for decorations for your awards day. We are definitely planning on having balloons, but you may want to make signs/posters with a special message from you to your students.
- I have reserved the EPIC van for all three days (awaiting confirmation).
- We will be practicing social distancing as we recognize our students.
