Letter from the President

I am so proud of all the hard work the Junior League has done this year! We had great success with Craft-A-Rama this past fall and a record numbers of children and families served with Warm the Children this winter. We've also committed much time and resources to our Done In A Day projects: several drives for local charities-bus tickets, laundry soap, personal care items, food-including the Jackson Interfaith Shelter, the Parkside Community Closet, the Brooklyn Food Pantry. Also, we have continued our tradition with monthly dinners served at the Interfaith Shelter. Furthermore, our major fundraiser, the annual Gala, far surpassed our expectations. Under the Big Top raised funds for the Jackson Friendly Home and the Region 2 Area Agency on Aging. Everyone enjoyed the theme so much, we are considering bringing the vintage circus to town again in 2018!

Thank you for allowing me to serve as your president,

Amanda Goldsmith
