Mrs. Redden's Update
What a cold week it has been! Thank you for bringing your children to school even though the weather was so cold. Your child's education is very important to us! Speaking of the cold weather, we have many jackets in our lost and found. If your child is missing a jacket, you may look at some pictures we placed on our Facebook page, or come in to look at our lost and found. We want all of our students to be warm on these cold days!
Our students will take their middle of year MAP tests this week on Tuesday and Wednesday. These tests show us your child's academic strengths and opportunity areas. It is very important that your child is at school on those days and takes these tests seriously. The results from these tests directly impact your child's participation in intervention groups during the school day, as well as on our Intervention Fridays. We want to be sure to have your child placed in the correct intervention group for his/her needs.
If you are dropping your child off at school in the mornings, please be sure to review the picture below. For your child's safety, please only drop your child off in the right lane, and not the left lane. We have three cones set up for drop off. Please pull up to the nearest cone to drop off your child. This will ensure the line runs smoothly and does not get backed up.
Thank you for your continued support. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
