Young Writer's Contest

The Young Writer's Contest is an event that takes place statewide. If you win then there is a chance that you could be entered nationally. You are able to express your thoughts, emotions, and creativity. If you win then there are awards for first, second, and third place.
Awards and Judging
The following are the awards that will be given out to the winners:
- First place receives $100.
- Second place receives $50
- Third place receives $25.
The following are the categories that will be judged:
- Ideas
- Word Choice
- Sentence Fluency
- Conventions
- Voice
- Organization
Event Information
Due Date
Your project must be turned in by January 20, 2016. It can only be written during school hours. Your teacher also has to supervise you while you work on it.
