Math Standard of the Week - 2nd Grade

1.) Use addition and subtraction within 100 to solve one- and two-step word problems involving situations of adding to, taking from, putting together, taking apart, and comparing with unknowns in all positions, e.g., by using drawings and equations with a symbol for the unknown number to represent the problem. Henry County is Running to Read! It's that time again!
Henry County Schools' Libraries are proud to sponsor the Second Annual "Run to Read" 5K on February 28th! We are hoping to raise $6000 to purchase books and materials for our schools' libraries. The registration form may be found on any Henry County School webpage or ask for one to be emailed to you. Return the registration form by mail to Headland Elementary School or take it to any Henry County School! Find them on Facebook for more information about how they jumpstarted this fund-raiser!
