- Principal's Honor Roll: Students with a 4.0 GPA
- High Honor Roll: Students with a 3.5 - 3.99 GPA

We will celebrate our honor roll students in the coming weeks with our quarterly ice cream social, honors passes, and other incentives. Below, the first semester and second quarter honor rolls are attached. Congratulations!
ACT Exam Information
Our 11th grade students are working diligently to prepare for the upcoming ACT Exam. Since January 2nd, students have been engaging in a rigorous test prep program in order to maximize their ACT score. This eleven week prep program challenges students and is one of the main reasons Westfield Area High School consistently has the highest ACT scores in the conference.
We are excited that our students can feel very confident about this exam, as they will be highly prepared and ready to succeed. On March 26th, all 11th grade students will take the ACT Exam. It is critical that all 11th grade students attend school on March 26th, as this test is mandated by the State of Wisconsin as its main accountability measure for high schools. After the exam has concluded, students who are passing all of their classes and who have no missing assignments are allowed to sign out. Students with low grades or missing assignments will stay at school after the exam to improve their grades and catch up on missing assignments.
Please note, students in grades 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12 do not attend school on March 26th. The only HS/MS students in attendance that day are students in 11th grade. We have students in the other grades stay home that day in order to create optimal testing conditions by testing students in small groups and utilizing two test supervisors per room. Students perform significantly better on tests when the tests are taken in small group settings. Since all high school/middle school staff assist with test administration on exam day, all other students in this school, besides juniors, are given the day off. Elementary school students report to schools as usual on March 26th.
We will return to our regular bell schedule on March 27th, the day after the ACT Exam. Under our regular bell schedule, classes start at 8:04 AM and end at 3:32 PM.
Ms. Trewin Honored for Excellence
Congratulations are in order for our talented High School Choir Director, Ms. Madelaine Trewin! The Wisconsin Choral Directors Association have awarded Ms. Trewin the 2024 "Outstanding Young Choral Director Award."
This award, established in 1993, honors Choral Directors with ten or fewer years of experience who exhibit exceptional teaching skills, demonstrate enthusiasm, establish positive connections with students, and who have made a considerable impact on their choral music program.
Ms. Trewin is in her third year as the Westfield Area High School Choral Director, and her impact on the program, school, and community, cannot be overstated. She enthusiastically instills a love of music in her students and is a tireless worker. Under her direction, the Westfield Area High School musicals have won numerous Jerry Awards for excellence, and she has continued the legacy of Westfield's amazing and impactful choral music program.
Carly and Haddie Set Records
Recently, two long standing school basketball records were broken by two of the most talented and hardworking basketball players in school history.
Carly Drew, a senior, broke Westfield Area High School's all-time basketball scoring record previously held by Katie Raymond. Carly has helped to lead the Pioneers to three straight SCC titles and two trips to the WIAA state tournament.
Haddie Showen became Westfield Girls Basketball career assists leader, breaking a record that stood for thirty years. Haddie is a junior who has played a major role in the past two SCC titles and the 2022 trip to state.
In addition to their excellence on the court, both girls are high honor roll students, members of the National Honor Society, participate in Band, and are enrolled in AP & advanced classes.
Congratulations, Carly and Haddie!
Drama Department Presents: "Murder at the Art Show."
