The Executive Chef, also known as the Kitchen Manager is the leader of the kitchen and is in charge of all kitchen operations. Making sure each cook in the kitchen has a specific job.
Work Enviroment
Many restaurants and institutional kitchens ave some modern equipment to make life easier while working in the kitchen. Working in close quarters is common among chefs, and as thee executive, overseeing employees is very common.
How to become an Executive chef
Although college is not required to become an executive chef, it is ideal hat you work at least years in the restaurant business. becoming an apprentice and also a sous chef will help along the way.

Duties and Training
The Executive Chef is responsible for making sure the whole kitchen is properly staffed and that each employee has pope training in their area.
