Gallatin High Update

Week of March 1-5, 2021

Inclusion Week

This week is Inclusion Week at Gallatin High. Sponsored by our Partners Club and our Special Olympics team. Students should wear fun socks and sandals on Friday, March 5th to celebrate our differences and there will be a banner to sign in the Commons to "Spread the Word to End the Word" and make Respect the new R word. There are homeroom activities with prizes for the homeroom with the most participation.

It is our goal to become a Unified Champion School. This year some of our Special Olympic athletes earned medals in unified bowling. (see image below)

Masks at School

Per its policy, the Bozeman School District requires all staff, volunteers, visitors, and school-aged students to wear a face covering while present in any school building, regardless of vaccination status.

Students and staff at all BSD7 schools will continue to be required to wear masks in school.

Please know that we have mitigation factors in place to help limit the spread of COVID-19 at Bozeman High. Because physical distancing is often impossible at the high school level in the 4+1 model, our primary mitigation strategy is to require everyone in school to wear masks. Our continued mask requirement is an important factor in order to keep our students in school.

Please ensure your student has a cloth mask to wear at school. Thank you!
