Hybrid for TK-5th Grade: TOMORROW!!!
HERE WE GO!!!!
If you are a Hybrid student in TK-2nd or 3rd-5th Grade you will be returning to campus TOMORROW and we are ready for YOU!!!!
If you are staying Remote, we will continue to include you in on all VG activities and I will be meeting with all the Remote teachers later this month to see if we can create opportunities for you to come onto campus (if you feel comfortable) to experience some campus opportunities.
Thank you to EVERYONE for working together whether you are staying Remote or coming back Hybrid, either way we are ONE Vista Grande and we support one another.
If you are a 3rd-5th grade Hybrid family please make the time to go through the Vista Grande Community Reopening Guide prior to Wednesday as it has a lot of details that you will need to know prior to students being back on campus.
This document includes hybrid bell schedules, arrival & dismissal procedures, recess information and so much more! Plus information on pages 15-17 for Remote families.
We are ready to see those smiles behind their masks!

PE & Science
HYBRID:
Classes will take place during asynchronous time
Teachers will manage ZOOMS like before; teachers have their own ZOOM links
Music, Art, Technology and Library
HYBRID:
Classes will take place during asynchronous time
Instructional Assistants/Librarians will manage their own ZOOMS
The teacher WILL NOT be in the ZOOM to support them as they will be teaching their opposite class (AM/PM)
Please note prior to Hybrid reopening the teacher managed the ZOOM
Their Zooms WILL have waiting rooms so please help your child be on time as it will be disruptive to let kids in who are late especially if this happens frequently as it will disrupt the lesson
If this becomes an issue late students (after 3-4 minutes) will miss that weeks opportunity
We need your help during these times to make sure they are on time and behavior expectations are followed to make this successful
PE & Science, Music, Art, Technology and Library
REMOTE:
- Students will attend with PE & Science classes with half their class at a time, teachers will give Remote students their schedules. Remote students will attend Music, Art, Technology and Library with their whole class.
