December 2021
Ott Families,
Happy December! It's holiday time! We had a lot of fun in November, celebrating Generation Texas by learning about our future careers and what we hope to be one day!
During December we celebrate Inclusive Schools Week. During the week we celebrate everyone, no matter what we look like, dress like, learn like, we are all unique and we can all include others.
We hope you enjoy your winter break with your loved ones.
World Kindness Day
We celebrated World Kindness Day in November, thank you to our student council for making posters and hanging them around our school to spread some kind words. Our kindness club, designed take what you need post-its for students and staff to be reminded to be kind to themselves.
5th Grade Transitions
5th grade students were able to learn about two NISD magnet schools, Zachry and Anson Jones Magnet School. Missed the December open house? No worries, there will be some in January. Click on the link for more information or look at the picture below.
2021 Ott-Some Career Day
We want to give a BIG thank you to all our 2021 presenters. Students were able to learn about different careers in their community. We had a huge success, and we couldn't have done it without our Ott-some volunteers. Thank you for making a difference in our students' lives.
