The Silk Road was the very first trade route that connected the East to the West.

The Silk Road extended 4,000 miles. It stretched from Changan, China to the Mediterranean Sea.

Some products that were traded on the Silk Road include tea, herbs, silk, porcelain products, and ceramics. Not only was it used to exchange goods, but also knowledge.

Confucianism became the official philosophy of the Han dynasty due to the result of moral compass which guided the emporers . All of the government had to follow the philosophy due to ensure their place.

They required to pass exams over basis of Confucianism so that all government workers have learned the philosophy to have a job and to have excellent morals

When they were being invaded by outside intruders the imperial government decided it would be better to give more power to the state powers in order to keep out the intruders.

The Silk Road impacted religion because it helped spread buddhism from India to China. Many merchantss from Central Asia brought buddhist monks with them for the trip to China.

Marriages were arranged in the Han Dynasty because young women weren't entitled to an education, except in how to raise a family and serve their husband.

The women's role was to get marrried at a young age. They were expected to raise a family and tto serve their husband.

Many public schools popped up and were fully funded in adition to the national university. They strongly emphasized education and literature along with math and medicine.

#12: What factors eventually led to the downfall of the Han Dynasty?
The warriors eventually broke through and took over China. With all the power given to army leaders it actually made the government weaker.
