New all-honors courses for Spring 2016
Second Year Seminar: Presidential Honors Seminar
Dr. Thomas Conroy
TR 1:00-2:15 p.m.
HBS, ICW, WAC
In this course, WSU President Maloney charges a group of second-year honors students to investigate a university- or community-based issue about which he would like more information to help him do his job. This semester, the president has asked the class to consider in what ways a college consortium could benefit Worcester's higher education students. Students, under Dr. Conroy's guidance, will determine a research plan, explore the issue in research groups, gather data, and present their findings to President Maloney in a written report and face-to-face debriefing.
